Scott Zeller – 1969 Mercury Cougar XR7
Representing Start Your Engines!® Fuel System Revitalizer
I purchased my 1969 Cougar XR7 in June 2015. It took me 9 months to find this car, which ended up being in Flat Rock, Michigan – Home of the Flat Rock Ford Assembly Plant and Flat Rock Speedway! I purchased this car with 39,460 documented miles….an all-original, unrestored 351W car with factory paint! This car has stayed in Michigan over the last 46 years so I was excited and anxious to bring it to Chicago. I consider myself to be relatively new to the classic car hobby, but I truly enjoy meeting other enthusiasts, viewing classic Cougars at car shows and the endless community/support from fellow drivers. My car has been a weekend driver and both kids thoroughly enjoy the ride in the backseat. My cougar is 1 of 149 with paint/trim codes. The original factory black Ford paint: #1724-A still shines! By no means a rare car, but certainly one very special cat! Dark Red Leather interior, Tilt-away, Power Front Disc Brakes, Power Steering, A/C, AM/FM Stereo, Deluxe overhead seat belts with warning light, black vinyl roof.
