This week we are featuring David Hallowell from Meriden, Connecticut. David is a Food Buyer with a regional distribution company. David owns a 1973 Chevy Camaro RS 350 and it is this week’s featured ride. David mentions that he is married to the love of his life, and a proud father of three. A grandfather of four, he is a Nascar enthusiast, likes drag racing and just about anything that has a motor in it.
Besides owning this cool looking Camaro, David also owns a variety of great cars. This collection includes: 2013 Dodge Ram 1500 Big Horn, 2001 Jeep Wrangler Sport and a 2006 Harley Davidson Roadking Classic. His favorite is the Camaro why, well he mentions “it is so much fun to drive with a 4spd Posi and 400+ Horsepower it is a hoot”.
David is looking forward to better weather and the cruise nights at Hooters and at his local green every Wednesday with a band concert. He is also looking forward to the Adirondack National in Lake George, NY in the fall. So what is his dream car? Well there are many particularly a 41’ Willys Coupe.

“Owning an old car is very rewarding and lots of fun. It brings back great memories of our youth when times were a lot different”. The truth is that automobiles represent the history of different eras. One of David’s favorite memories was being able to take his grandchildren on their first ride on the Camaro.
One last word of advice for our members, “taking care of a collector car is an ongoing process and always be aware of what is around the car even in the garage. Always use top quality products to clean the cars”. It is obvious that his advice work’s, if you don’t believe me check out the picture, that is one cool looking ride.
