Featured Member of the Week: SharkRy

2012 Camaro-2This week we are featuring Ryan Goll, from Phoenix, Arizona.  He is the owner of a 2012 Chevy Camaro aka “The Shark”, and it is this week’s featured ride.  Let me begin by saying thank you Ryan for your service, as Ryan is currently stationed in Oklahoma City as an Active Duty Air Force Member.  Ryan is married and the proud father of two.  In his spare time Ryan enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, and attending car shows.  After owning “the shark” for a little over two years, it has been featured on the Chevy Camaro Facebook page as “Fan Power” and it has also achieved a page in the most recent issue of AFX Magazine.  “I realized the sky was the limit for my car. Now I’m shooting for the stars and hoping that Cool Rides Online can feature The Shark. It would definitely be the icing on the cake”.  Well Ryan, congratulations we are glad we could feature “The Shark”.  Ryan says that his dream car is a 1969 Chevy Camaro RS, as a matter a fact Ryan installed retro 1st Generation Tribute headlight covers on “The Shark” as a tribute.

Everyone is proud of their car, so what makes “The Shark” so special?  Ryan says “its uniqueness, it’s different and you either love it or hate it”.  From the beginning Ryan says his goal was to set his Camaro apart from all the rest.  I have to admit that it is truly unique and it looks awesome.

Nothing is more important than the memories that you create.  Some of the few great memories that Ryan has with “The Shark”, have to do with the awards he’s received.  As well as sharing fun moments with the members of the OK Camaro Club.  But what is his favorite memory?  If he had to choose just one, Ryan says it would be the moment when the President of AFX Magazine messaged him to inform him that “The Shark” was going to be featured in their next issue.

As for the future of “The Shark”, are there any more modifications coming soon?  Ryan says “I have a lot of ideas in mind for The Shark, as it’s always a work in progress.  Nothing major in the near future, mainly because I need to save some money and hold off on the mods for a while. I’m really just looking forward to the weather warming up and show season coming up. It’ll be nice to get together with the OK Camaro Club and attend some events, along with club meets. The snow needs to go!”  I agree completely I think we’ve all had just about enough of this winter weather.

One last thing that Ryan wanted to share was that “I’m happy to be part of such an awesome group. It’s been a great ride, and I’m looking forward to sharing The Shark with the group for many years to come!”  We’re all glad that you shared “The Shark” with us and are proud to have it as this weeks featured ride.  More importantly we’re glad that you joined us Ryan, as the weekly feature is more than just about the cool rides it’s about learning the stories about the people behind these amazing cars.
