Please tell us a little bit about yourself.
I’m in my sixth decade of living. I am a shipper/receiver for a small company. I’m married with with two daughters.
How did you first get interested in this hobby/passion?
I started out with a 1955 Chevy in 1968 as a daily driver and fixed it up as I used it.
What Rides do you currently own?
Just the 1971 Cutlass S.
What do you like most about your Cool Rides?
I love the fact that I was there in the Carter Motors parking lot, and my dad said to the salesman, “Wrap it up.” No test drive, nothing. I love the way it handles on the highway.
What is the best memory you have with your favorite ride?
I was a kid with my dad in a Hotrodded Chevy. He put the pedal to the metal and went from 0 to about 90 before he knew what he was doing. What a ride!
How do you store your ride(s) during infrequent use, and what maintenance tips can you provide for readers?
I keep it in my garage with some stabilizer in a full tank of gas. I put the trickle charger on the battery and start it about once a month during the long winter.
What was the first car you ever owned?
A 1955 Chevy
What is/was the BEST car ever made?
A 1965 Corvette Stingray
What is/was the WORST car ever made?
The AMC Pacer
