The Cavalcade of Cars Show

IMAG0367The Cavalcade of Cars is western New York’s Hottest indoor Rod, Custom, Classic, Motorcycle and Retro Rod show.  This year one of our own members was kind enough to share with us a bit of what went on at this wonderful show.  Bob Viau aka 23t-bucket attended the show and this is just a quick recap of what went on at the show.

“The Cavalcade of Cars was held on Feb 28th -Mar. 2nd, we had our keystone cops van in it to promote the site. We had a great turn out and hope to have recruited some fine rides to join the site”. We can’t wait to see some of these rides being featured on our CoolRidesOnline blog.  After looking at some of the pictures from the show I have to admit there were some amazing looking rides.  Once again we can’t thank you enough as well as all the members that help to get the word out about CoolRidesOnline.  We truly appreciate your efforts.

IMAG0379“The best thing about the show was that I got to meet Tom, he owns the Dodge 69 Daytona. They did it on Velocity’s Graveyard Cars show. Tom lives about ten miles from me and mentioned that we was going to join CoolRidesOnline, as well as joining the Drifters car club I belong to.”  We would be happy to have Tom join our CRO family, and to see more of this great looking ride.

“We do a cruise every Wednesday night all summer long and do a monthly CRO Super cruise where we pick a car to feature and park under the CRO banner. We give them free gifts we get from our great sponsors like gold eagle.  The first car we are going to feature is Tom’s 69 Daytona in May”.  It sounds like it will be a great show, and this is a great looking car.  There were many of Bob’s clubs cars in the show, along with their van he mentions there was also “two sweet 50’ Chevy trucks, one maroon, and one black and blue, as well as a 24t-bucket”.  “All three of our club members rides won trophies, and there was one our members who took a top trophy for his Georges 48’ Anglia”.

“There was this stunning 48’ Buick, dark gray that just wowed you to see the detail of it.  There were man great looking Mustangs and Cameros”.  “There was a great back room that was filled with rat-rods and plenty of nostalgic cars”.

“We had terrible weather all three days, but it was warm.  The truth is that we had a full house for all three days.  I can’t wait till our first club cruise night in April”.

It looks like it was truly a great show, and we are very grateful that Bob was able to share with us all these pictures.  We are always glad when one of our members shares their experiences at a show and we love pictures.
