1966 Mustang bought in 1992 found in a farmer/ranchers field being used as a cow feeder next to a cow water trough. 6cyl car with no doors and no floors other than the transmission tunnel. 2 hours after paying the Farmer/Rancher $600 i drove it out of the pasture sitting on a milk crate and 2 2x4s. as you can tell i have done lots of changes to my Stang since 1992 1st was a V8 swap and swap from the wimpy 4 lug suspension to 5 lug stuff and discs and spindles off a Maverick. remained as such as a decent street car till 1997 where upon opening of Emerald Coast Dragway here in Florida I took it off the street converted to track car only due to several instances of almost killing myself on the street (self Preservation Mode) raced pretty much the same way as was previous in street till 2005 where a Mustang II front suspension was added and welded in as with a one piece fiberglass tilt fount clip, fiberglass doors, 12 point roll cage, upped and added a greatly improved HP 302 with Aluminum heads larger cam and carb. car has been primer grey, Midnight Metal flake blue, sunrise red and is presently Hot rod flat black with red and copper accents. winter 2017 added Full Cal Tracks Susspension with Mono Leafs 9 way adj rear shocks and 90/10 front shocks, added a MSD 7AL2 with 3 step modual and launch button, new Hooser Slicks, New Holley Blue fuel pump and regulator. Pro Form 750dbl pumper, Power Blast plates by Thompson Performance, Piston swap from KB flat tops to TRW Forged .200 Domes, presently running 116 octane. best time in 2017 was 7.008 winter changes hoping for a 6.80.
