I have owned this car since 2013, it was a complete nut and bolt restoration preformed by myself and girlfriend, Jan. This was an original Texas car last licensed in 1977, it was purchased in 2000 and moved to Duluth, Minnesota, it was put in dry storage for 13 years while that owner collected parts for the restoration. I found the car online in October 2013 and purchased her in November of 2013.
Our Marlin is one of 2545 produced, it was born with a 343 cu.in engine, Borg Warner M-11 3 speed automatic trans, power steering, power drum brakes, factory air conditioning, AM-FM factory radio with reverb, tilt wheel, vinyl top, bucket seats and console, she currently has 36,667 miles.
Our complete restoration includes rebuilding the engine, trans and rear end, fresh Sungold Amber Metallic paint, all suspension has been replaced, restored the original seats front and rear with original factory material, as well as new factory door cards. She rolls down the road with F78-14 Firestone Deluxe Champion tires just like day one from the factory. My girlfriend has named her Marline.
